Gluten-Free Savonnerie featured in: G-Free Diet: A Gluten-Free
Survival Guide by Elisabeth Hasselbeck
 |
Elisabeth Hasselbeck
of "The View" and "Survivor: The Australian Outback"
writes of her experiences with Celiac disease. From her
pre-diagnosis
misery, to obtaining a diagnosis, to the process of learning
to live with
Celiac disease, she reveals her experiences to help other
people cope and
find success living G-Free.
The Gluten-Free Savonnerie is recommended as a resource for
Gluten-Free
soaps, shampoo and skincare in the book.
The reason for her illness evaded Elisabeth Hasselbeck for
years as she
tried to figure out what was making her sick. She saw
doctors and consulted
nutritionists, but no one had the answer. It wasn't until
she spent time in
Australia, living off the land as a contestant on the hit TV
show "Survivor"
that ironically, her symptoms vanished and she felt well.
Upon returning home, she was able to pinpoint the food that
made her sick -
gluten. By eliminating it from her diet, she was finally
able to enjoy a
completely normal and healthy life. In the course of these
changes,
Hasselbeck also discovered the many benefits that people
without Celiac
Disease can enjoy by going G-Free: from weight loss and
increased energy to
help for those with autism.

Your gift basket was a hot item at prize time! We appreciate
